Our Institution came into existence in 1990 with an objective of nurturing unsaturated and an average youth of the city. The mentor Prof. K.B. Lokesh secretary, Mariyappa Group of Institutions, is the person behind the growth of all these colleges from strength to strength. By virtue of his untiring efforts, he nurtured these Institutions from time to time with clear concepts and perceptions. He is endowed with magnificent traits of planning, organizing, motivating, asserting, objective fixing and monitoring of each and every aspect in minute detail. In short, he is a visionary with outstanding capabilities of administration, developmentl strategies and futuristic plans.
MGI has a clear and compact Vision compassing a broader out look that educational systems should not confine themselves only to inspire and mould the students to achieve their academic targets but also concentrate on character grooming, developing personality and adopting discipline as a way of life. They should aim at balanced growth of the individual with ethical values and intellectual insights.
To fulfill vision and to carry the Mission, there should be a set of objectives which are aptly visualized, evenly structured and appropriately programmed in a time bound process. MGI has got its objectives identified accordingly and proceeds to achieve them with a missionary zeal and enthusiasm for fulfillment of its Vision.
Our Mission is to sustain contents and creativity besides stimulating proximity and participation. We feel it to be fundamental to wake up the young students to the hard realities of life and the highly competitive scenario which is fast emerging and limiting the opportunities. We wish to guide them to institute with necessary measures to gain supremacy in a stiff and highly competitive environment. We train them to acquire the skills needed for precise planning, positive placement and prompt pro-activity.
